Pakistan Cricket Board has raised vociferous appeal against Shane Warne’s lottery-prediction over India-England tie. The PCB asked the intervention of third umpire to look into the ‘Octopus-like’ prediction. Accusing chances of spot fixing PCB has decided to raise the issue in the next ICC board meeting.
Shane Warne had tweeted the result of an awe-inspiring World Cup match just hours before it began at Bangalore. Even the live commentators or the charring galleries could predict such a wonderful tie after. Cricket world wondered when Warne made such ‘strange’ prediction.
PCB has taken this prediction as a best tool to bash ICC which banned three Pakistani players for spot fixing. Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Aamer had to stay away from the squad thanks to their alleged involvement in spot fixing on their England tour last year.
