PCB Ended Shoaib Akhtar Central Contract


Pakistan Cricket Board has ended the central contact of former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. Sign of terror for the batsmen Shoaib Akhtar had announced his retirement after the match against New Zealand. He bowled badly in that match and it was the last match for his career. Shoaib Akhtar was not able to get his place in quarter and semi final.

He was not 100% fit and was included in the squad. He had 247 ODI wickets and was not able to complete his 250 wickets. There are some reports that he had some issues with management for discipline and was also fined.

Captain of Pakistan team Shahid Khan Afridi said that he cant understand why Shoaib Decided to retire in the world cup. He added that the decision of retirement should be taken by him before or after the world cup.

Afridi said that team was relaxed in the match against India. He added that they take it as a game and was watching movies in living rooms. Afridi said that batting was problem through out the tournament and that had cost them match. While talking about Shoaib Akhtar he said that he was great bowler but his timing of retirement was not right.
